Web Design of Meituan Enterprise Reimbursement Tool

As a UX designer at Meituan, I took over an incomplete project and focused on optimizing the user experience. My primary responsibilities included improving the interaction logic to maintain consistency between web and mobile interfaces, collaborating with developers to ensure error messages were reported accurately for all abnormal states, and enhancing the scalability of the pages. By focusing on these key areas, I was able to create a more seamless and intuitive user experience for Meituan's employees across all platforms.

Background
Business needs
Meituan Money Manager is a reimbursement tool designed for Meituan employees. In the past, the reimbursement process was often challenging for employees due to unclear guidance and unfamiliarity with reimbursement rules, resulting in errors and repeated modifications. These issues not only increased the workload of reviewers but also caused frustration and wasted time for employees. To address these challenges, the Meituan Money Manager project aims to design and develop a more intuitive, user-friendly, and self-service reimbursement process that simplifies the reimbursement process for employees and reduces the need for manual processing by reviewers.
Design Objective
  • Facilitate the reimbursement process, enable users to understand the reimbursement rules and complete the reimbursement process without having to refer to any documents.
  • Simplify the process, reduce the cognitive load on the user, and avoid incorrect reports
  • Optimize the app's expandability to facilitate future development
